I'm co-founder and Assoc. Artistic Director of Sowelu Theater, we're a small, non-profit ensemble theater, creating acclaimed work since 1998. Hard Times Come Again No More, named after the Stephen Foster song, was created by Martha Boesing, Artistic Director & resident playwright of Minneapolis Womens' Theatre, At the Foot of the Mountain. I'm thrilled, after these years, to be putting the work of this remarkable mentor on stage, at the theater I co-founded, after all these years.
