Amanda Degener is one of Cave's two original founders. It is her strong desire to pass along the knowledge and experience of production hand papermaking, and the legacy of Cave Paper, to the next generation. She believes it is important to keep Cave Paper open as an education center teaching interns the production of rugged and rusticly beautiful paper for which Cave is known worldwide.
