<p>Christopher Redmond is a writer and filmmaker with a combined honours degree in Journalism and Film Studies from Carleton University, as well as training from the Vancouver Film School. He was among the first members of The Rwanda Initiative media development project in the summer of 2006 before co-founding the Burundi Film Center. He is the former Vice-President of the Independent Filmmaker Co-operative of Ottawa (<span class="caps">IFCO</span>) and has worked with <span class="caps">CBC</span> Canada Now, the Ottawa-Gatineau Film and Television Development Corporation, the Canada Council for the Arts and the film preservation unit of Library and Archives Canada. Directing credits include Home Free (2009) Written in Stone (2006) and The Design of Humankind (2005). He currently works as a writer and video director for Acart Communications.</p>
