<p>Los Angeles native JoAnna Rhambo started her career as an actress and model. For the past few years, she wanted to be even more involved behind the scenes as well. In May 2011 she started her production company Hazel Honey Films. She is the writer and producer of Solstice. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Her motto is "Never let anyone put you in a box, based on your past or even what they 'think' you should be. If you put in the work, your gifts will make room for you." It's this philosophy that was the making of a dream for HHF's founder to be able to not only write for those that are under represented, but also to tell stories like they've never been told before. Real, raw and honest! </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As the founder of Hazel Honey Films she is not afraid to tell stories of hurt and pain, but also of joy, love and overcoming overwhelming situations. The goal is to inform, inspire and to have films that spark a CONVERSATION afterwards. She is currently in pre-production for the film Solstice.<br></p>
