<p>Originally from Florida, Adele became a resident of Los Angeles in 2008 after three years of working as an editor on feature films in New York. Adele served as producer on David Robert Mitchell’s The Myth of the American Sleepover, as well as on Katie Aselton’s directorial debut, The Freebie. The Freebie premiered as part of the <span class="caps">NEXT</span> section at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival where it was acquired for domestic distribution by Phase 4 Films. It will be released theatrically later this year. The Myth of the American Sleepover had it’s premier at the 2010 <span class="caps">SXSW</span> Film Festival where it received a special jury prize for Best Ensemble. Myth went on to make it’s international premiere at Cannes’ Critics’ Week 2010. It was the only U.S. film in it’s category . After six years spent helping other people to make their films, Adele is finally going to make one of her own.</p>
