<p>Originally from Florida, Adele became a resident of Los Angeles in 2008 after three years of working as an editor on feature films in New York. Adele served as producer on David Robert Mitchell&#8217;s The Myth of the American Sleepover, as well as on Katie Aselton&#8217;s directorial debut, The Freebie. The Freebie premiered as part of the <span class="caps">NEXT</span> section at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival where it was acquired for domestic distribution by Phase 4 Films. It will be released theatrically later this year. The Myth of the American Sleepover had it&#8217;s premier at the 2010 <span class="caps">SXSW</span> Film Festival where it received a special jury prize for Best Ensemble. Myth went on to make it&#8217;s international premiere at Cannes&#8217; Critics&#8217; Week 2010. It was the only U.S. film in it&#8217;s category . After six years spent helping other people to make their films, Adele is finally going to make one of her own.</p>
