<P>Bill Doncaster is an award-winning playwright from Boston, currently pursuing his MFA in Creative Writing at Lesley University. His plays have been performed in New York, Chicago, Boston, Louisiana, Florida, and he's a two-time winner of Best Play by the Boston Playwrights Platform, twice been included in the Boston Marathon, and won a "Charlie" Award at Acme Theater in Maynard. </P> <P> </P> <P>His adaptation of The Friends of Eddie Coyle was first performed as a staged reading in the back room of The Burren in Davis Square, Somerville, in November of 2010.
