Based in Iowa City, Iowa, USA where she teaches playwriting at the University of Iowa Playwrights Workshop, Megan's work has been produced all over the world. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution listed her solo show Hillary Clinton Got Me Pregnant in their yearly Top Ten Best Plays.
