I expect my parents thought I'd get over my horse crazy phase, but it just went into hiding while I pursued two college degrees, got married and had three children. By then I was ready to add something more to my life, to go beyond the usual and do some kind of significant work to attend to the needs of our world. Since horses were still calling to my soul, I listened. I've been riding into my mythic life ever since.
