Filmmaker Shawn Strong, a Newburgh, NY, native started as a DJ, beatmaker, and engineer but lost his love for music due to the elevated commercialism of the music industry. After high school, migrated to St. John's Univerisity for Fine Arts and Communications. Video production came into his life while being a student at Orange County Community College taking TV Production after a 10-year break. Technology helped design for being a propagator of visual communication. Now runs Phanatiks Ent.
