Karen is a cat lover by nature. She has held jobs and done volunteer work caring for animals. Over the course of her career she has found herself managing small teams of people and successfully completing large projects in the energy business. She has been following the cat cafe trend since 2011, and her career path has taken a turn and allowed her to pursue opening Greensboro's cat cafe.
