My Story

I was born in Ghana, W Africa, orphaned by age 8, then lived with some relatives until age 15. I was then adopted by an uncle and aunt at 15 and brought to the USA. I began supporting myself from age 17, and was able to put myself through school by working several low paying jobs. I became an RN in 2008, and by 2010, was honored with the title of Nurse of the Year by the March of Dimes. I care for my patients as if they are my own family.
