Our dogs are rescued from shelters, neglect, abandonment and homes in distress.<br><br>We became incorporated on December, 13, 2010 and are happy to announce that we obtained non-profit status as of February 14, 2011 (Valentine's Day)! Now what could be more fitting for a breed that we absolutely adore?<br><span></span><br><span></span>Our volunteers are familiar with this breed; many of us are servants to our own Shibas. The dogs are lovingly placed in our volunteers' care, where they are nurtured in a home environment, integrated with families and other pets (as applicable). The dog’s health, temperament, behaviors are all evaluated and documented during a period of approximately 10-16 weeks. <br><br><span></span></font><font size="3">In some cases, we may work on a few training issues with an IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) accredited dog trainer for behavior modification.
