<p>Fighting Owl Films was founded in 2003 as a production moniker for our student films. The name stuck, despite our best efforts. After a brief hiatus, Fighting Owl Films resumed the production of short films in 2007. Since then, we've produced several shorts that, while low budget in nature, have received solid reviews from across the web and have been featured in numerous film festivals across the country. These films served as a warm-up to producing a feature and allowed us to find out what worked, what didn't and what interested us most.</p> <p align="left">In the summer of 2010, Fighting Owl Films began principal photography on its first feature film, <em>The Night Shift</em>, based on the successful short of the same name that we produced in 2009. The film was completed, received positive reviews from across the web and received North American DVD distribution by R Squared Films.</p> <p align="left">Now, Fighting Owl Films is turning its attention to the future.</p>
