I am a self-producing filmmaker trying to raise awareness about the situation of the refugees, internally displaced persons and people living in the conflict-affected areas in Mali and the Sahel. This ambition is quite personal. To connect people to the story, I celebrate the work of musicians who are defending the rights of the people stuck in the conflict, crisis and chaos. The musicians are risking their lives to do this. Their ambition is also quite personal, as you can imagine.
