Amanda Barrick here. I love to sing and write songs. At 17 I was gifted a guitar and it facilitated a great awareness in me that I was capable of speaking and expressing my individual truths. I wrote my first song about a girl I was madly in love with. I did not have the courage/vulnerability to be frank in the lyrics, instead I wrote in code. Over time and through music I discovered who I am, who I want to be and how I evolve. My life experiences have given me the language to understand myself.
