Hi I'm Lisa Valentine I live in Chico Ca, a small community and home to Chico State University. From a young age I was belting out tunes from musicals or movies. At 15 I picked up the guitar and started writing my own songs. I have been influenced by legends such as Tina Turner, Otis Redding and Gladys Knight. A couple modern artists I connect with are Adele and Amy Winehouse. I would say my music is rooted in soul, blues and jazz. My dream would be to travel the world as a professional musician
