Ashaki M. Jackson

Ashaki M. Jackson is a social psychologist, writer, and philanthropist in Los Angeles. Her tenure with nonprofits (e.g., WriteGirl, Reading Is Fundamental of SoCal, etc.) has focused on at-risk youth and arts. Dr. Jackson was a recipient of a Cave Canem fellowship and continues to write in residency with the VONA/Voices community. Her work has been included in Suisun Valley Review, Eleven Eleven, Generations Literary Magazine, and The Drunken Boat, among other publications.
