Steven Summers

Steven Summers is a video and installation artist who was grew up in the north<br>suburbs of Pittsburgh. Originally trained in painting and drawing, he has for the<br>past 10 years exploring the creative use of the moving image, whether it be<br>through video installation or traditional narrative cinema. His work has been<br>shown in galleries and screening rooms internationally. He is a video instructor<br>at both The Chicago Academy for the Arts and in DePaul University's Digital<br>Cinema Department. Currently living in Chicago, his work continues to exploring<br>themes of perception, anxiety and fear of time in contemporary society.<br>
