Saxophonist balkan and middle estest music

<p>I am a saxophonist based in Montreal passionate by balkan and middle-eastern music since many years.</p> <p>I studied jazz and classical&nbsp;and follow lessons with great musicians in Klezmer music such as Christian Dawid and Rachel Lemish, Moldavian music with Adrian Receanu and Adam Stinga, Sevdalinka and Sepharad music with Merima Kjluco.</p> <p>I've been in Turkey, Istanbul for almost 3 months learning Balkan/Turkish music, kavala and kaval with Richard Laniepce (Kolektif Istanbul), classical turkish music and a brief introduction to the makams with Serhan Erkol (various projects). I also started to learn the kaval with the great master Sinan &Ccedil;elik.</p> <p>My main project, Massapan, an original balkan/jazz trio.&nbsp;</p> <p>Passionnate also about traditionnal culture: food, story-telling, dance, religions.ect.</p> <p>Sharing and sensitize people to theses rich and wonderful culture by the way of music.</p> <p>&nbsp;========================================</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;Je suis une saxophoniste bas&eacute;e &agrave; Montr&eacute;al passionn&eacute;e de musique balkan et moyen-orient depuis plusieurs ann&eacute;es.</p> <p>J'ai &eacute;tudi&eacute; le jazz et le classique et j'ai ensuite suivi des le&ccedil;ons avec d'excellents musiciens dans la musique Klezmer tel que Christian Dawid et Rachel Lemish, la musique moldave avec Adrian Receanu et Adam Stinga, musique sevdalinka (bosnia/serbie) et musique s&eacute;pharade avec Merima Klujco.</p> <p>J'ai &eacute;t&eacute; en Turquie, Istanbul pour un s&eacute;jour de presque 3 mois y apprendre la musique balkan/turque, kavala et kaval avec Richard Laniepce (Koektif Istanbul), musique classique turque et br&egrave;ve introduction aux makams avec Serhan Erkhol (nombreux projets). J'ai &eacute;galement commenc&eacute; le kaval avec le ma&icirc;tre Sinan &Ccedil;elik.</p> <p>Mon projet principal est Massapn, un trio original trio de musique balkan/jazz.</p> <p>Passionn&eacute;e aussi par la culture traditionnelle, cuisine, contes, danse, religions,ect.</p> <p>Partager et sensibilis&eacute; les gens &agrave; ces riches et merveilleuse culture par le biais de la musique.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
