Betty Lerche

Betty Lerche was born in Alsfeld and moved to Berlin where she was raised in a strictly Jewish family. 1984-1989 she studied filmmaking at the State Academy of Fine Arts, Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main in the film class of the renowned Austrian avant-gardist Peter Kubelka. She lives in Berlin.
