When child soldiers successfully fight genocide in Burma they become legendary, but once they give refuge to radicals who seize an embassy their fortune ends.

I have worked as a digital artist in Atlanta, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and in the Washington, DC area. I graduated from American University and Loyola Marymount University in Communications and Film Production respectively. My LMU thesis project, “Prayers from Kawthoolei” featured the reunion of two friends separated by civil war in Burma. It played on Southern California PBS stations from 2005-2007 and screened in many domestic and a few international film festivals. Continuing the Burma theme, my pursuit of the Htoo twins’ story began shortly after the seizure of the Burmese Embassy in Bangkok in 1999. The longer I've worked on this story, the more fascinated and intrigued I am with the details and the more in awe I am of Burma's incredibly courageous dissidents and freedom fighters and their "vigorous" efforts to attain democracy and freedom for their countrymen.
