Comedy Festival.</p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; color: rgb(85, 85, 85); line-height: 1.5em; font-size: 1.1em; ">In 2008 I created Violette’s Dream, an alternate reality game (ARG) commissioned by Gamecock Media (Austin, TX) to market Velvet Assassin - a next-gen video game. Inspired by the story of Violette Szabo a World War II heroine, the experience led players through a series of real world interactions with characters and organizations from within the unreleased computer game. Violette’s Dream was the first project to back engineer real-world interaction into a computer game.</p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; color: rgb(85, 85, 85); line-height: 1.5em; font-size: 1.1em; ">In 2000 I developed and produced the first fully interactive reality TV programme, “e-trippers” for cable company Rapture TV. My interest in participatory media led to developing a Global E-Missions for ITV which won Best Use of New Media Broadcast Award in 2002.</p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; color: rgb(85, 85, 85); line-height: 1.5em; font-size: 1.1em; ">My media career started as a newsroom journalist for BBC Radio and TV.
