With a prodigal history from a family of professional musicians and recording engineers, Christopher Swist has performed, recorded, and composed on a virtuosic level from an early age. In 1999, The Instrumentalist magazine stated that Christopher Swist’s published works “should become a part of contemporary four-mallet marimba repertoire.” Swist is Artist in Residence at Keene State College in New Hampshire where he teaches music technology, percussion, composition, and music technology.
