Daughter of Chantal Molnar, Miré has spent her life around natural childbirth and inside the discussion of women's rights. She has witnessed many births and is a certified doula (birth partner). From the early 90's to the mid 00's Miré was actively involved as an independent and professional musician. She used the medium of music and performance to be a stand for women's access to self-expression. In 2000 Miré began a sex-ed class for teens at Contra Costa Alternative High. This class gave young men and women an opportunity to relate to all sexuality through the lens of women's sexuality. In 2002 Miré received a Bachelors in Sociology with a focus on feminist theory from New College of California in San Francisco. The latter part of the decade brought Miré into the nonprofit sector. Miré joined Ndebele Art Project Africa, a small nonprofit dedicated to the Jabulani villagers of Zimbabwe, as a board member and chair of fundraising. Miré helped raise nearly $30,000 through community events and outreach. Currently Miré is working toward an MFA in Media Design at Full Sail University as well as a certificate in Sustainable Leadership at UCI. She intends to continue her education in film and media production at Chapman University next year. Miré combines her organizational and design skills, knowledge of birth, breastfeeding, feminist critique and sub culture with her deep understanding that this film is the culminated life-work of Chantal and Jennifer and that their knowledge needs to be shared. This unique position and perspective enables her to produce and manifest this project. Adding creativity and generational point of view to the aesthetics.
