<div>Monica graduated with an MFA from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts in Film and Television Production, and received a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in Film, Literature and Ancient Language. She directed KING OF THE ROAD, a motorcycle action-adventure short film starring Miles O’Keeffe (TARZAN, 1981), where she lead a high profile crew that included DP Rick Drapkin (Director of Photography, MEDIUM), Stuntman Monte Perlin (RUSH HOUR 3, MR. & MRS. SMITH), and Stunt Coordinator Justin De Rosa (HOOK, SISTER ACT), with the guidance of Producer John Watson (ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES). KING OF THE ROAD is currently playing in film festivals across the U.S., after which Monica hopes to launch the feature film version of the project. Since graduation, she has gained various accolades for her work. In 2010 alone, she was the Grand Prize Winner for her feature screenplay KING OF THE ROAD in the Women in Film and Video NE Competition, a Top Five Finalist at the Eerie Horror Film Festival for THE BLOODY TANNENBAUMS, and was also nominated for Best Female Filmmaker at Action On Film Festival to name a few.</div><div><br></div>
