In addition to her interest in creating new work, she also specializes in helping actors at every level of experience to develop and maintain essential acting skills. Kara has worked in American theatre (as an actress, director and teacher) for over fifteen years. She attended one of the UK’s top drama schools (University of London, Central School of Speech and Drama) where she earned a distinction for her graduate work in Actor Training and Coaching and taught undergraduate acting classes at Rose Bruford College before returning to the US to head up the Brand New Theatre Co. in Austin, Tx. </span><br>
