I grew up in public housing in the Kinsman neighborhood in the former Garden Valley Estates (now Heritage Homes). Across the street from where I lived was the Garden Valley Neighborhood House community center. It was here that I would access opportunity, learn how to shoot pool, meet girlfriends and eventually get scholarships that helped me launch my business in printing and publishing. IWN.Haus is an ultra-modern, community wealth building center I plan to build on Chicago's South Side.
