Storytelling is in my DNA
Storytelling was handed down to me by both sets of grandparents. I watched their movements, the gait in their steps, and the command they had when they entered a room. I was fascinated with their vernacular and mesmerized by everything associated with their delivery; how they stood in a doorway, holding a cigarette, the inflection of their voice, and how they'd sneak a swig from their flask when they believed no one was watching. One instructor told me to 'be relentless,' and I ran with it.
