For as long as I can remember I had a huge love for horror and special effects. So after graduating high school I immediately moved to LA and started studying special effects makeup. I studied puppet making, character design and beauty makeup. When I finished I returned to Massachusetts and went to school for computer animation because at the time a lot of the FX shops were closing due to the rise of animation in movies. While at animation school I learned how to edit my own videos and I haven't stopped since. After doing well over 100 short films with my friends, we decided it was time to try to make a full length feature and we did... 4 years later we finished “Mourning Wood”. The story of 4 friends who have to save the town from sexually charged humping zombies. I mixed everything I learned from school into that movie from exploding puppet heads to a 2 min frame-by-frame animation. The movie was made for less than 2.5 grand… yes I said 2.5 grand out of my own pocket. We had the premiere in our hometown and over 300 people showed up and it was truly amazing. Then 4 months later (not 4 years) we made our second film “Joy and the Apocalypse” which was a straight to TV drama/love story that aired to over 2.5 million homes. Again we made this movie with a very small out of pocket budget it was more than 2.5 grand but still less than $10 grand. Now after a few months off the Fat Foot Films (production co.) crew decided to make a horror inspired pinup calendar called the “Looks that Kill” 2012. And that’s where I am now.
