Erica Rose

<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Cambria">Since a young age, Erica Rose has always had a camera in her hands. Her first five films starred her sister, her dog, and usually a piece of fruit. Now she has graduated to more advanced films, directing five short 16mm films in the last year and five other short films during the past five years. Concentrating in writing and directing, Erica has a passion for unconventional storytelling, and is not afraid to confront controversial and provocative issues in her work. This past summer she worked with Oscar-Winning filmmaker Jonathan Demme, helping him with his current documentaries and to adapt his new feature based on a Stephen King novel. Last year she co-founded a theatre company named NYU Renegade Theatre and has directed, produced, and cast the plays <i>Proof, A New Brain, </i>and <i>No Exit. </i>She is currently producing three other student films and is in pre-production for her intermediate film <i>And I Love Her. </i><span>&nbsp;</span></span>
