I am a teacher in the business of hope

I have been teaching Physical Education at a K-8 school in Asheville NC since 2003. I am a proud teacher and life-long learner. Kids are my tribe. After earning my Masters in P.E., I launched into my self-prescribed "School of Life" degree. I became a wanna-be neuroscientist and an aspiring liaison for holistic education. There have been times in my life, especially when reading inspirational texts, when I have thought: "Why didn't they teach me THAT in school?" Let's start now.
