After he released the trailer for his first feature film WEEDWOLF, it instantly became one of the most viewed trailers in the history of Daily Grindhouse. Having been the only website to see the flick from beginning to end, I promise you this is a legit cult classic. I can see this being viewed years from now as part of Halloween traditions (or on 4/20 for that matter). Nobody sets out to make a cult film, they define themseleves, the films find their own audience. The fans make the film what it is, give it its status. Slama better be ready, cause I think this one is locked and loaded to be cult classic.

Slama was born on Halloween in 1978 in Ennis, Texas. He grew up watching all different types of movies but was influenced by Universal monster movies, 80?s slasher films, and 70?s exploitation films. After giving the finger to a factory job, he opened up a comic book store where he met Calvin Hall. Slama and Hall talked about B-movies until they realized they both wanted to create a film of their own. Without formal training, Slama was able to produce, co-write, edit, and act in WEEDWEOLF. Tommy is now working on a sequel to WEEDWOLF as well as another film set in the same universe that is part blaxploitation, part TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, part slasher with some Kung-fu fighting sasquatches thrown in. I am not sure what this bastard is smoking but puff, puff, give Slama!
