I am a filmmaker and film teacher from Phoenix, Arizona. My company, Catbrain Film Factory has won various awards since it's inception in 2006. Of these, I am most proud of being named the 2010 AZ Filmmaker of the year at the Phoenix International Film Festival. <div>I love to infuse my passion for alternative, punk, and retro music as well as my love of pop-culture in general into my films. John Hughes is my idol, and as a high school teacher, I deal with teens everyday and make it a goal to expose them the Hughes and his films, and the kids still enjoy his work even 25 years later! If I could make just one film that could relate to the youth of America in the way that all of Hughes's films did, I would die a happy man.</div><div><br></div>
