My name is Casey. I have an amazing son and husband who help me through each day. I credit them and my faith in God for my talent. My passion has always been art, not just photography. Painting, knitting, etc... you name it, I love it! My photography is really where I go to escape. Always I have been behind the lens, seeing the beauty in others, rather than in front of the lens and focusing on myself. Making the transition from fine art photography to portraiture allowed me to develop more as an artist. Working with another person, rather than an object, caused me to have to think more about where I am, as well as how to read a person so I can capture their true self. Photographing people is very intimate and allows me to almost intrude on the model/ subject and watch as they bear their inner most thoughts and feelings. <div><br></div><div>Anyway... I love to cook, knit, bowl, photograph, garden and just spend time with my family. I have a masters in education to teach art and love kids, but currently I have been using that to work more with the youth at my church. Where doors have been closed, the Lord has been opening windows. I'm ready for that draft and the next great adventure that is out there!</div>
