American photojournalist, going Dutch

Hello, there.

I'm Traci, and I grew up in the American south. I don't have an accent, but I do love fried okra and friendly people. I am a photojournalist, and I can't stop taking pictures of my life and the excellent people and things I see. I am a freelance photographer now, and I have also set up my own lifestyle photography business in the Netherlands. Why the Netherlands? Well, because of a boy, but also because I love being able to bike everywhere and I admire the social principles of this tiny country. The cheese is nice, too. I love the honesty and expressiveness of photography, and I approach all of my work with candor and creativity. Color is my friend, I am a sucker for silhouettes, and drag shutter is fun. I am still figuring out my freelance life, but I love the adventures I have gotten myself into and look forward to more.
