<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Since 1999, Amy Lipton has been the New York City curator and co-director of ecoartspace, a bi-coastal non-profit organization that creates opportunities for addressing environmental issues through the arts. She has curated numerous exhibitions for museums, galleries, sculpture parks and environmental centers, written for books and publications. She frequently organizes and participates on panel discussions and gives lectures on art and the environment. Lipton was co-curator of <i>Ecovention </i>at the Contemporary Art Center in Cincinnati, Ohio (2002) </span>and co-published the accompanying 160-page exhibition catalogue. In 2004 she curated <i>Imaging the River, </i>an<i> </i>exhibition<i> </i>contrasting historical and contemporary artists views of the Hudson River<i> </i>at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, NY. Recent exhibitions include <i>E.P.A, Environmental Performance Actions</i> at Exit Art in New York City (2008); <i>Down to Earth </i>at the Schuylkill Environmental Center in Philadelphia, PA (2009); <i>Nurturing Nature</i> at Concordia College in Bronxville, NY (2010); and <i>Beyond the Horizon</i> at Deutsche Bank 60 Wall Gallery, New York City (2011).</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1"></span><br></p>
