About Me
According to one close friend, I’m doomed to the fate of an obscure, aging playwright with faded looks and an alcohol problem, partaking in dysfunctional affairs with younger and more talented artists until the crushing sense of failure finally overwhelms me and I’m found hanging in a dingy flat above a pub. I, however, prefer the slightly more romantic prediction that I perish tragically young (of consumption and a broken heart), still in my garret flat, but with scribbled masterpieces scattered around my deathbed. Having never had my BCG, I suppose either are theoretically possible.

TePonui
To borrow the words of Ron Arad, after leaving university "I quickly discovered I was not cut out for working for other people. Especially after lunch". After just over two years of trying very hard regardless, and spending the rest of my time working on other creative projects, writing until the wee hours and abusing the snooze button on my alarm clock, I took the leap and set up my own film & media company, TePonui. So far, so good - I've been picking up projects and commissions for companies and campaigns such as WGSN, The Global Fashion Awards, the dakini Tiger Campaign etc. My first short, SURFACING, which was filmed in Turkey, was recently shortlisted for the international MOFilm/ Chevrolet competition. Currently working on IMMORTAL LONGINGS, a 10 min horror film which will be entered into the 2 Days Later horror film competition.
