A life-long native of California, mainly SoCal, Keith Carter had to make up for the lack of seasons by developing his imagination. From the time, at age 7, that he made his dad rent a video camera so he could make a short film, Keith had the film-making bug. After a lengthy and unfortunate stint of realistic thinking, Keith left the IT industry and returned to college to restart the long process of chasing his dreams. Graduating from UC Berkeley with degrees in English and Film Studies, Keith didn't want to repay his student loans, so he immediately entered Chapman University's Dodge College Conservatory of Film in pursuit of an MFA degree in the Directing emphasis. Slightly Imperfect is the culminating work of his Master's degree education.
