I have a robust relationship with fear: fighting it while remaining terrified. This makes me a better playwright. Fear also lead to my most influential source for understanding drama. After a delusion that I would be an actor, I was scared I had chosen the wrong career path. Then I began exploring technical theatre while developing my voice as a playwright. Design and tech work has taught me to think more visually, solving problems with language and action, creating complete stories.
