Hi everyone. I'm just a guy not afraid to shake things up. I'm engaged to a wonderful lady and together, we have 6 wonderful kids and 7 grand kids. The kids range from 19 to 26 and the grandkids range from -0.5 to 7. :)

I'm one of those root cause types who loves getting to the bottom of what makes things tick and not tick. I can't hardly look at something without thinking how it could be improved. People joke about that being a problem, but I make good use of it. I've studied everything science related all my life and it's finally paying off. I have hands on experience and some engineering experience in construction, mechanics, machine work, electronics, computer hardware, software and networking, robotics, automation and I love putting math to all of it. I have written software in 50 different languages for things like company payroll programs, plant automation and satellite test beds. Because I adhere to the principle of keeping it simple and elegant, most of the automation systems I've built are still running unchanged after 15 or 20 years. In my garage, you'll find plumbing parts next to an oscilloscope, transmission shafts laying on circuit boards and fine oak boards stacked with mirrors on the router table but I know where it all is. I just need more space. I've invented dozens of devices or systems for previous companies and I have dozens more waiting their turn. I even patented one for myself but didn't have the money to capitalize on it. Now it's my turn to bring one of those designs to you.

In doing so, I've added 3 engineers (plus a mechanical engineering graduate of '12 who just happens to call me dad) to my team. Together we've also joined forces with a number of others that have the skills and resources to help out in certain areas such as welding, machine work, fluid dynamics and other areas. They all voted to stay behind the scenes but they're a great bunch of talent.
