ChamberSoul Chronicles: Debut CD Project Overviews the Life of a Singing Cellist

So just who is this “ChamberSoul cellist & guitar-playing singer-songwriter from NY who’s set on blazing a trail for herself down in North Carolina?” That’s me: Shana Tucker. My music is a unique “pastiche” of acoustic jazz-influenced pop and soulful, contemporary folk. I’m excited about the possibility of sharing it with you. And the world.

I’m here in North Cackalack…playing, singing, writing, cracking jokes, etc. Andseems like the more I perform, the more folks are demanding a CD. Yes, DEMANDING. I’m sure the’re as tired of me saying, “I don’t have one…yet!” as I am.

WHICH IS WHY WE’RE HERE on IndieGoGo, getting this campaign cookin’g and ever closer to my stunning-in-sound-and-packaging, gloriously glorious debut CD.

From a musical standpoint, things are rolling: meeting/collaborating with incredibly talented musicians, writers, producers. Performance-wise, the doors keep opening. It’s becoming obvious and apparent that opportunities to share my music will continue to sprout up. I’m thinking, "if I can do all of this WITHOUT an album, imagine how productive Life would be with a full-length, exquisitely produced CD?

It’s my goal to successfully recruit you as a lifelong Shana Tucker fan and supporter. But this recruitment doesn’t just stop with you. As you know, Word of Mouth is THE most effective marketing tool. Definitely, definitely tell somebody about it…I really believe that my music is something worth sharing, worth keeping, worth hearing more of. I think you’ll think so, too.
