Ligia Teixeira

Lígia Teixeira has a BA in Dance, specializing in Performance, at Escola Superior de Dança in Portugal. Currently she is a scholar from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Luso-American Foundation, attending the MFA in Performance and Interactive Media Arts at Brooklyn College. During the last 7 years she has been developing work in the intersection between dance and technology, with a particular focus on physical computing applied to dance. She is a founding member and co-director of Milliways.
