The Jennifer Flowers Project

Hello Everyone, allow me to introduce my self I am Jennifer Flowers which you may also know as Jennifer Fuentes.

I grew up in the small town of Homestead located just south of Miami Florida on a 2-1/2 acre ranch where I found my passion for music (doing small talent shows in the living room for the family and guests also landing every solo in school possible) and I have always had my love for animals. I started entering spokes model and pageant competitions in addition to singing the National Anthem wherever I could. I won the title of Miss Homestead and went on to be the youngest contestant to compete for the Miss Florida crown starting a "Mentors are the Makers of our Future" campaign. To then receiving a proclamation for Jennifer Fuentes Day by the city of Miami Mayor "Alex Penelas" .

In 2003 Fox Televisions American Idol came to Florida looking for talent. On a last minute whim I decided to audition. Out of the 60,000 contestants I made it to Hollywood and all the way to the Top 30! This started a whirl-wind of media coverage and appearances for Television, Radio and Printed media like the Daily News, USA Today, People Magazine, YM Magazine, Latina Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, I even got to perform at The White House!

In 2004 the call of a lifetime came. It was to run away with the circus! I landed the job the same day of the audition and went on to travel the entire US for over 3 years with The Greatest Show on Earthas Part Ringmaster, part story telling songstress, part dream weaver of the 136th Editions The Circus of Dreams! Performing as many as 13 shows a week with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey in addition to the duties as a spokes person and ambassador of the Circus to Radio, TV, National Papers, Families and children of all ages across the entire nation. I have been very fortunate through all of my grand experiences, I have encouraged and helped make dreams come true while I watched my own dreams come to fruition.

In 2007 the Ringling Bros. train stopped in San Jose California and thats where I decided to run AWAY from the circus! I realized that I was only living in a dream world while I was on the road and that I was not working towards what I truly wanted to accomplish to be a country/blues singing rock star in a small town.

I really had the chance to discover myself having left the most amazing touring life experience that no one could teach and then to land in beautiful San Jose to find that my four year marriage was coming to an end. Just recently going through a difficult and emotional divorce taught me to never give up on my dreams and always follow my heart. My true passion has always been for country music so after signing a Management deal with Sound Management, inc. in 2009 I quickly jumped into the studio and recorded my first country track Angel Give Me Wings. At this moment I knew that singing on stage is what I was born to do. I may have had a few set backs in the 3 years living out in the bay area. But, in the time I have been here I have recorded an amazing demo CD with great friends and support that I found during my time here. Now, I only have a few more months left in the bay area before I make my move to the "Live Music Capitol of the World!" Austin TEXAS! Where I will continue to purse my singing career and collaborations with other musicians. I wish for all my friends, fans and family to be there with me every step of the way.

You can also check out great music videos, pictures and updated blog/calendar by visiting my personal web site at Coming soon: http://www.jenniferflowersmusic.com

Coming soon: Look for my new music video to "Long Drive To Dallas"

Please, share the love, links and music videos! Cheers!

"Life is an open door to all that is possible. And that's a powerful thing."
