Bobby Abate is a queer artist, filmmaker, activist and esotericist from Brooklyn, New York. His films have been screened around the world in such venues as the Museum of Modern Art, the ICA, the New York Film Festival and the Guggenheim in Bilbao. An outsider since the first grade, Bobby found refuge in the underground world of provocateurs, artists, queers, and punks.
