Ross H. Martin grew up in Westchester County, NY. After graduating from the University of Hartford in CT, Ross moved out West to Los Angeles, CA to pursue filmmaking. He attended Columbia College-Hollywoodfilm school and concentrated on screenwriting and directing. Ross produced, wrote and directed short films. Ross then produced, co-wrote and co-directed a dramatic comedy feature film, “Rubbernecking” about diverse characters stuck in a major traffic jam. “Rubbernecking” was at the IFP Market in NY and some festivals. Some of the short films Ross wrote and directed were in various film festivals. Ross has attended numerous film festivals as either a filmmaker or film fan. He knows how difficult it is to get a film ‘in the can,’ into festivals and sold in the marketplace. In 2001, Ross co-founded Screamfest, a horror genre film festival. In addition to screenwriting and directing, Ross also edits film and video.
