UK Conservation Biologist in Mexico
I have lived in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico for roughly 10 years and originally came here for my doctoral research on the social behaviour of wild spider monkeys. I am now the senior research manager for the International NGO Operation Wallacea and oversee research projects around the world. My two big projects in the Yucatan are a biodiversity monitoring project in the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve and a turtle, reef and water quality monitoring project in Akumal.
