I’m an author, filmmaker, and journalist who's worked for such outlets as The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, CBC TV, and The Guardian. I’ve edited several magazines, co-directed a documentary about men’s mental health, and coauthored the national bestseller Inside the Inferno. Both my upcoming film, The Last Baron, and new book, Praying to the West: How Muslims Shaped the Americas (Simon & Schuster) are out this fall.
