Making Something Beautiful
Cecile Davis, started her career in the arts in Easton, Maryland with Dance Harrison Street, Cricket Theatre and Art House Live. She went on to attend East 15 Acting School in London, England, where she studied contemporary theatre and film, with a particular interest in Shakespeare. In 2007 she formed her own theatre company (Crowded Logic Theatre) and performed a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Cecile’s artistic focus has shifted to film in recent years, with her production company Floofie Films, she has made over one hundred short films, commercials and music videos, and debuted her latest project, Jolene, at the 2012 Chesapeake Film Festival. She currently works full time at The Avalon Foundation, an arts based non profit theatre and public access television station.
