Lynn Hughes

Lynn grew up hearing stories of what it meant to lose freedom with the rise of a dictatorship. Although her father was born in the US, his entire family emigrated from Cuba. Her first political action was marching as a tween with the League of Women Voters for ratification of the ERA. Since then, Lynn has worked tirelessly for voting rights — volunteering for Election Protection and as poll worker. An award-winning producer, writer, and director, her work has aired on networks across the globe
