Transplanting Traditions Community Farm
Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States
The Transplanting Traditions Community Farm (TTCF) is a vocational agricultural program that works to build economically viable, environmentally sound, and socially sustainable local agricultural business opportunities for refugees living in N.C. Currently, 31 ethnic Karen refugee families from Burma grow fruits and vegetables at TTCF. 100% of these refugee farmers were farmers in their native Burma.
